The lobby, bathrooms, and infrastructure have been completed and plans for the interior of the theater include a new chandelier and restoration of the original decorative wall treatments. Electrification and control wiring of the marquee and blade sign is being accomplished by DeWitt Van Nest Electrical Contractors. The plans were submitted to and approved by SCCAC, the Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission, and the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). has served as the Historic Preservation Consultant and coordinated the plans for restoration of the marquee and blade sign, prepared by Cerminara Architects. In lieu of the two marquee message boards above the sidewalk, that were originally changed manually with hand-placed letters, digital video boards will announce the theatre’s coming events.

Fabrication will take 3 months and include installation of the historic 1,130 programmable light bulbs in the original 1927 blue and yellow colors.
